Still Talking When All the Phones Are Out!

You can still talk to your family—Even when all the phones are out!

Land lines are down.  Cell phone towers are over loaded.  Electricity is out.  The roads are clogged.  Your loved ones are at school, work, in-transit, or maybe at home.  How do you let them know you are okay... and how do they let you know they are okay... or need some help?  The answer?  Short-wave radio!

The first Saturday of every month from 4pm to 6ish your neighbors and friends are meeting-up to learn how to use shortwave radios to bridge the gap between communicating and NOT communicating.  Whether you have a ham license or thinking about getting one you are invited to join us for potluck at 4pm and then stick around and learn along with us!

Meetings are FREE and held at The American Legion Post 122, 10221 Washougal River Rd., Washougal WA 98671 (10.2 miles up the Washougal River Road).
