3rd Thursday, Living Ready Series

Living Ready Series! March is  Expanding Your Neighborhood's Emergency & Communication Plans

Get the skills, knowledge, tools, supplies to be prepared to help your self, your family, neighborhood and community when a crisis strikes. Each month a different area of preparedness living is addressed. This is a community education workshop and the $5 fee will be forwarded to the Washougal Community Education Program.

February was getting organized, March is expanding your plans.  We will report back on our work thus far on setting-up our local Neighborhood Response Teams.  The second part of the evening will be updating and expanding our local communication plans.  And for those that wish...  take the $15 test for ham radio license level 1.  We will ALSO set-up a local ham-radio emergency response system for our side of the Clark-Skamania County-line, that will fold into the larger emergency response system network.

The goal of this "Living Ready Series" is that participants will be living a prepared life style and prepared to respond in a coordinated effort to local neighborhood emergencies.
