3rd Thursday, Living Ready Series
Living Ready Series! May is Getting YOUR Ham License and Setting Up a local ham radio network!
February was getting organized, March was expanding your personal emergency response plans, and April was studying for your Ham Radio License.
May is taking the $15 test (payable to the exmainers at time of test) for ham radio license level 1. We will ALSO work on setting-up a local ham-radio emergency response system for our side of the Clark-Skamania County-line, that will fold into the larger emergency response system network of Skamania and Clark Counties, as well as the State of Washington Emergency Response System.
Get the skills, knowledge, tools, supplies to be prepared to help your self, your family, neighborhood and community when a crisis strikes. Each month a different area of preparedness living is addressed. This is a community education workshop and the $5 fee will be forwarded to the Washougal Community Education Program. You can register here GorgePrep.com or through Washougal Community Ed. 360-954-3040.
The goal of this "Living Ready Series" is that participants will be living a prepared life style and prepared to respond in a coordinated effort to local neighborhood emergencies.
