The first segment is Monday, October 6 from 6pm to 9pm.  This evening is the "Pre-Flight."  Here you will discuss what it takes to survive with only your wit and what you have on your back.  This will be an intensive, fast paced orientation.  You MUST bring your current "72-hour Go Bag" to this orientation meeting--NO EXCEPTION!!!

Segment 2, "The Trial Run" is Saturday, October 11 from 10am to 5pm.  This is in the woods.  This session is a go, regardless of the weather.  You must bring your newly revised Go Bag with you.  You will be surviving in the woods for 7-hours. You will be learning and applying basic skills that you need to survive in the weather, in the woods, with what you know and what you have on your back.   Before this session starts your "72-hour Go Bag" will be inspected and YOU MUST HAVE all required items or you will not be allowed to continue.  YOU will be sent home.

Segment 3, "The Survival Weekend." This is a "Go," regardless of the weather!  We will meet at the end of no-where at 4pm SHARP. You have 140 minutes to darkness.  Sunset is at 6:20pm.  It will be very dark and you want to be ready to spend the night out, in the woods, with only what you know and what you have on your back. You want to survive the next 48 hours. If you survive the weekend you will be awarded the book, "One Second After".

You will learn the skills necessary to survive on your own in the woods!  This includes 3 ways for: building your own shelter, finding and securing your own water, finding and trapping your own food, and building and maintaining your own fire.  If you want to stay warm and dry, eat and drink, protect yourself and find your way through the woods this is a great weekend to either develop some basic skills or enhance the ones you have!

This 5-day, 3-segment workshop requires a minimum of 5 people and has a maximum of 8.

**16yr. olds can register with attendance of a parent.
